1. Overview

Welcome to Alix Fuerst Art. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website.

2. Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, text, and other content on this website are the intellectual property of Alix Fuerst and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

Commissioned artwork remains the intellectual property of Alix Fuerst unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The artist retains the right to photograph and display commissioned work in portfolios and promotional materials.

3. Commissions

A 50% deposit is required to secure your place in the commission schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork, before shipping.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If the commission has not yet been started, a full refund of the deposit may be issued at the artist's discretion.

Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on schedule and complexity. The artist will communicate any expected delays.

4. Shop Purchases

All sales of prints and original artwork through the online shop are final. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Shipping costs and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

5. Shipping & Returns

Artwork is carefully packaged to help ensure it arrives safely. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photographs of the damage and packaging so we can review the situation promptly.

Shipping insurance may be added at the customer’s request and expense. If insurance is selected, any damage or loss in transit will be addressed through the carrier’s claims process.

While the shipping carrier is ultimately responsible for items once they are in transit, we will always work with you in good faith to help determine an appropriate next step and provide guidance with any necessary claims.

Because each artwork is unique, returns are not accepted unless damage occurs during shipping.

6. Use of Reference Photos

By submitting reference photographs for a commission, you confirm that you own the rights to those images or have permission to use them. Physical reference photos will be returned with the completed portrait.

7. Limitation of Liability

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Alix Fuerst Art shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this website.

8. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
